Saint Mina Banquet hall and Church

NO ALCOHOL OR SMOKING AND THAT MUSIC NEEDS TO BE PRE-APPROVED

RECOMMENDED DEPATURE AND CLEAN-UP TIME

Users are advised to end events 45 minutes prior to their DEPARTURE TIME as specified on the request for use application. This will allow sufficient time for required user cleanup, and thus help prevent additional charges for St Mina banquet hall event manager staff time.

HANDLING OF PROPERTY AND EQUIPMENT

A) User agrees to not drive any nails, screws, tacks, or pins into, or secure any other objects onto the floors walls, ceilings, partitions, doors, door or window casings, or woodwork of the Banquet hall with tape or other adhesives, and will not in any manner change or move any fixture of the Banquet hall except  as may be authorized by the Banquet hall manager or designated Banquet hall representative

B) Except with prior approval of the Banquet hall manager, all Banquet hall property and equipment must be handled and operated solely by banquet hall staff. In addition, any stage, technical or electrical equipment provided and/or operated by the user must be handled and/or operated under the supervision of the Banquet hall staff. User shall abide by Banquet hall procedures and directions wherever safety, security, and protection of Banquet hall property and personnel are concerned.

C) The use of rice, glitter, confetti, or similar materials used for decorating purposes is prohibited in the Banquet hall facilities

D) Clean up of rented facilities must be done IMMEDITLY AFTER THE EVENT so that the facility may be prepared for the next user.

E) User’s clean up responsibilities include clearing tables, chairs, surfaces and floors of all User products, equipment or trash: and placement of all trash into designated containers. Normal custodial services, which are covered in the user’s rental fees, include the routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, furniture, and equipment belonging to the Banquet hall.

F) The banquet hall event manager will document the condition of the property after use and inform the User as to weather the facility is in a satisfactory state of cleanliness so that no additional cleaning charges will be assessed.

G) The deposit will be used as payment for damage to the premises caused by the users or special cleaning needs caused by the users actions. Photographs may be taken by staff at any time during the event to document images

 

DISPLAYS

Displays in conjunction with scheduled events may be set up only with the advance approval of the Banquet hall manager. They must not be fastened to any part of the building. Displays must not interfere with crowd movement, fire regulations, or be placed in a hazardous manner.

ADVANCE NOTICE FOR PICKUP AND DILEVERIES

The user must arrange in advance any pickups or deliveries in order to assure that appropriate staff will be available for requested services.

LOST AND FOUND ITEMS

The user agrees that the banquet hall staff and manager will not be responsible for any personal items left on the premises prior or after any event

 

PROPERTY ABANDONED BY THE USER

A) The banquet hall Manager will collect and have custody of all property including but not limited to scenery, equipment or supplies left on the premises by the user after the Terms of Agreement for use

B) The banquet hall manager will store the property wherever appropriate at the expense, risk, and in the name of the user.

C) If the user fails to claim the property within 60 days following the rental period the Banquet hall manager reserves the right to dispose of the item

 

PROHIBITED MATERIALS

A) The user may not operate any engine, motor, or machinery on the premises, or use flammable liquids such as oil, burning fluids, camphene, kerosene, naphtha, or gasoline for either mechanical or other purposes.

B) The user may not decorate the banquet hall with any flammable materials, such as bunting, tissue paper, or crepe paper that is not flame retardant.

C) The user may not use any sources other that electricity for illumination of the banquet hall

D) Smoking and Alcohol is prohibited on the banquet hall properties

 

 CHANGES AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Any changes must be made greater than 30 days before event date.  All event cancellations must be made in writing 90 days in advance of event for deposit refund.    Text message to 310 3086280 with date and time of event being cancelled will suffice.
